MidAtlantic Dental Transitions, Was Founded by Dr. Tom Bonsack in 2011. Dr. Bonsack is a 1986 University of Maryland Dental School graduate and dental practitioner for 25 years. Dr. Bonsack formed and ran Mid Atlantic Dental transitions, a highly successful dental transition firm until 2019. Dr. Bonsack formed the company to bring better processes, transparency and understanding to practice transitions. In Mid 2019 Dr. Bonsack and Curt Cooney had decided to join together with the idea that Tom and Curt both ran their respective transition businesses in a similar manner would work together for a few years before transitioning the company to Curt. Dr. Bonsack (Tom) has been fully retired since early 2022, although he remains a friend and consultant to me and the company. We thank Tom for this opportunity and for his continued guidance.
Curt Cooney has over 40 years’ experience in business-to-business sales, marketing and management. Primarily working with family-owned businesses throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic markets for Molson Breweries, Miller Brewing Company, ABI and other regional distributors in the same markets.
I began my career in dental transitions, now in the bottom half of my 7th year with Schiff Dental Brokers, a division of Schiff and Associates Dental CPA’s. Immediately followed by joining Dr. Bonsack at Mid Atlantic Dental Transitions and eventually assuming leadership of the company.
